Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Program

The Critical Care and Emergency Nursing Programs (CCENP) include the Emergency Nursing Program (ENP) and the Critical Care Nursing Program (CCNP). These specialized training programs are through the Nova Scotia Learning Institute for Health Care Providers and provided as satellite offering through Health PEI with support from ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® and PEINU.

Delivered full-time over 13–16 weeks, twice per year, the CCENP integrate virtual classrooms, simulation, skills development, and extensive preceptored clinical experience to build competence and confidence in high-acuity care nursing settings.

The CCENP are available to Registered Nurses working in Emergency Departments and Intensive Care Units in Health PEI.
