Giovanni Cecconi lectured at ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® on old and new paganism and the conversion of the late antique west

The Departments of Classics and History, the Graduate Committee on the Arts and Humanities, and the ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Mediterranean Studies Group presented a free public lecture September 21st in Eaton Humanities 135 at 5:00.  Giovanni Cecconi, an Associate Professor of Roman history at the Universita degli Studi di Firenze, spoke on "'Old' and 'New' Paganism and the Conversion of the Late Antique West: An Interpretive Model."  The lecture was followed by a reception.
