The Mortenson Center's cutting-edge research combined with stakeholder engagement is helping legislators to better understand local water systems' current and future climate vulnerabilities. We have created emerging technologies including developing the first-ever demonstration of carbon credits earned from green infrastructure replacing gray infrastructure for water treatment.
To aid in ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® Water Management the Mortenson Center is:
- Monitoring gaps in ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® water management.
- Examining the challenges for ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ® water managers across basins & sectors.
- Researching perceptions of technology use and barriers to adoption across ¾«Í¯ÓûÅ®.
- Exploring the feasibility of green infrastructure to address water quality concerns in ¾«Í¯ÓûŮ’s rivers and reservoirs.Ìý
